So I bought a bike.
Some marketing guy called the bike 'mongoose' which seems pretty silly.
Despite never having a bike with gears, that part seems to work ok. But you really shouldn't re-learn bicycling in 90+ temperatures. I was exhausted by ten minutes of rolling about.
It does climb hills nicely.
