all is well

Wednesday Thursday last week started to get spots from bites. Had to assume they were from camping trip. By Friday, they were swelling and spreading and appeared to be generating on their own.

...and anti-itch topicals were not doing much. Slept little Friday night. Saturday was bad--but we got some high-power OTC stuff that helped a little. Saturday night I got surprised completely by a dinner out with old friends. When they saw the red swelling--they convinced me I was having an allergic reaction. Somehow, for first time ever, I had an allergic reaction to mosquito bites--four days after the bites.

But I like camping. I'm wondering if something else I did/ate this week combined with the bites to produce a reaction. I don't have any allergies usually.

Anyhow, benadryl Saturday night from a 'open all hours' place started helping right away. Stuff is clearing up.

But boy, that benadryl can make you woozy.
