air travel

I expect this when I travel for business--- I don't think it will happen to my poor RFL.

She almost never got off the ground at Chicago. I was watching Online for her flight news (and it just kept saying 'delayed' until I finally left for the airport thinking, my god, it's been two hours, they must have put her on another plane by now.)

Turned out, no, they wouldn't let folks go because they had loaded all the luggage on the broken plane. So they were, at end of day, four hours late getting back to Pittsburgh.

She was *really* tired by the time we got home.
But safe.

I can't fault not using a 'bad' plane.
But the info system for telling you what's happening doesn't work.
