I have to admit it never occurred to me...
Cosplay (costume play) has gotten so elegant and glamorous that it can inspire trump artistry. Now there are copyright and fair use issues, but that's true of most images on the web.

Of course, I have no context for most of the roles. But in terms of infinite shadow outfits and hair colors: wow.
